Been using this product successfully for over 30 years. It seems I can no longer find it in local stores! I suspect P&G is trying to phase out use of this product in favor of their less economical pre-measured gel pacs! I don't like gel pacs and I don't like the liquid gel.
Yes, I recommend this product !
I bought Cascade Complete Gel thinking it was just an improved version. No, its not. I contain some kind of mysterious unknown grit that remains all over any flat surfaces like glass bottoms. I'm not sure if this grit is intentional or just a contaminate substance. Please advise if OK to continue using, thank you.
No, I do not recommend this product.
Much to my dismay after one use with Cascade liquid detergent the cutlery turned dark. What can I do to fix this. I don't want to buy new.
We’re here to help, Bee! We do want to share that we’re aware Cascade Gel will tarnish silver, so we don't recommend putting silver or aluminum items in the dishwasher. The good news is, the tarnish should be removable with a good silver polish, preferably one with a tarnish inhibitor. To help prevent this, remove silverware and other tarnish-prone items from dishwasher quickly after drying cycle is completed and store them in an airtight chest, box or plastic bags to minimize the risk of oxidation. Please don’t hesitate to call us at (800) 765-5516 if there’s anything else we can do to help, as your satisfaction is very important to us.
