Cascade Dishwasher Cleaner, Fresh Scent
The stainless steel interior of my dishwasher was clean and shiny, as were my dishes, and utensils and they look like new. I have my original corelle living ware, which I bought in 1972, and it also is looking newer with each wash. No more carbohydrate stains, or metal marks on them. I don't want to be without thisproduct Ever!
Yes, I recommend this product !
Price has shot up 100 percent in one year. I can buy food for family or 18 cleaning pods.
No, I do not recommend this product.
This product creates too much suds. It was causing my dishwasher to leak from the suds level. I replaced the door gasket thinking it was the gasket. Rearranged the dishes. Same result. Then I redid a load that leaked and did not use any detergent. No leaks. I then ran a load with a different Cascade product, the powder. No leaks. Cascade Platinum was the culprit.
We're very sorry you had that experience. However, our automatic dishwasher detergents will not foam too much follow the instructions on the package. If you are getting too many suds, check these reasons as a possible culprit:* Only use automatic dishwasher detergent in a dishwasher. Do not use hand dishwashing liquid.* If you have soaked dishes in water with hand dishwashing liquid, rinse them thoroughly before putting them in the dishwasher.Foaming can also be caused by rinse aid.* If you have spilled rinse aid in the dishwasher, wipe it up with a damp cloth.* If your rinse-aid dispenser is adjustable, you may need to turn it down. Check your owner's manual or contact the manufacturer.* Make sure the rinse-aid dispenser is not leaking. To remove Suds:* Remove the dishes from the dishwasher and use a plastic cup or bowl to scoop the suds out.* Put 2 or 3 tablespoons of cooking oil or 2 cups of rubbing alcohol in the bottom of the dishwasher.* Run a full cycle with no detergent or dishes. Then, with the dishwasher still empty, run a full cycle with automatic dishwasher detergent.Don't forget to clean your dishwasher once a month with Cascade Dishwasher Cleaner to cut down on any build up you may have.
