After about 3/4 of container used, the packets do not dissolve. Makes this container of 92 a very poor value. I have to throw out the last 20 + pacs.
No, I do not recommend this product.
We strive for our products to reach you in the best possible condition, so we’re to hear that you had this experience. We'd be happy to share our best tips to help prevent this from happening in the future. We suggest running the kitchen sink before starting your dishwasher to ensure that the water is hot enough, and making sure that no other household demands for water are going while your dishwasher is running, so that the water pressure isn’t too low. As well, please check to see that the dishwasher sprayer arms are clean and can move easily, and that the dispenser cup isn’t blocked. We hope this helps! You’re always welcome to give us a call at (800) 765-5516 if you have any questions.
My glasses were always sparkling clean with no film or spots. When I switched to Cascade Platinum, I noticed a film on my glasses after the first use. I used the heat booster to boost the water temperature and also added jet dry, but nothing works. I am very disappointed, thought for the price these would work way better than they do.
We’re sorry to hear that you’re disappointed, since we’d expect Cascade to provide your glasses with a superior clean. It sounds like you’ve taken some great steps, and we’d like to share a few more tips to help prevent that film. We suggest checking to see if the dishwasher sprayer arms are blocked at all, and ensuring that the water is at least 120F/49C. As well, we recommend trying out our Rinse Aid, which works to help prevent spots and film. We’d be happy to look into this further for you and answer any questions you may have, so please feel free to call us at (800) 765-5516!
This dishwasher soap slowly removes the finish on my dinnerware....noritaki, extremely hard on glassware, and coats the inside of my dishwasher,(Miele).Bought this last jug by accident. (husband shopping, said it was all left on shelf. I can see why.)
We're very sorry you're having this experience. What you are describing is called etching. Dishwasher detergents don't cause etching; it occurs in all dishwasher types regardless of the brand of detergent or dishwasher being used. It's not completely understood by the glass or automatic dishwashing industry. The cause appears to result from an unusual combination of factors like soft water, heat, the type of glass and how it was manufactured. To prevent this from happening try using our Cascade Platinum Rinse Aid. Don't wash your dishes before loading them into the dishwasher. If the dishes in your dishwasher are mostly clean, your detergent has less work to do which can create a harsh environment for glassware. If you have a water softener, increase the number of grains per gallon. Don't use the heated dry cycle. if we can help you further, or if you have any questions, please give us a call at (800) 765-5516.
