Love cooking, but not the clean up? There’s good news. Cascade Platinum can clean all your stuck-on and baked-on messes, so you can enjoy cooking without worrying about the cleaning. You might even make a roast again. Or not. At any rate, here’s the Cascade Platinum way to clean dirty, burnt pots and pans in your dishwasher. Before we get started, please review your owner’s manual. These instructions work for most dishwashers, but in the rare case you find a discrepancy, follow your owner’s manual.
1. Remove Excess Food.
Using a wooden spatula, scrape off as much cooked-on food as you can muster into the garbage. Think of it as a gym workout.

2. Check For A Label.
Look for a stamp or label on the handle or on the underside of your pan indicating if it is dishwasher safe. For example, stainless steel is dishwasher safe, aluminum is not. If you have trouble locating a label and are unsure what material the pan is made of, check the original packaging or the manufacturer’s website.
3. Load The Dishwasher.
Refer to your owner’s manual. Some dishwasher manuals specify to load pans on their sides on the bottom rack. For most dishwashers, insert pans mess-side down on the bottom rack. This lets the spray jets work their magic.

4. Use Cascade Platinum.
For best results, use a premium ActionPac. With dry hands, carefully place an ActionPac into your dishwasher’s dry detergent dispenser.

5. Set Your Dishwasher.
Some dishwasher models will have a designated ‘pots and pans’ cycle. For all other dishwashers, select the longest cycle. Give your dishwasher a little extra oomph to clean that burnt-on mess!
Those burnt-on messes are now cleaned off your pots and pans. Now go on, make an even bigger mess .
